Free Color Contacts Samples

Here's another news story we found about these round / circle contact lenses (also called "doe-eyed" contact lenses) that Lady Gaga wore in one of her videos along with a pretty scary quote from an optometrist about how bad they could be for your eyes:
Illegal contacts sold at local stores (www.wavy.com)
Dr. David Tang, an optometrist with Beach Eye Care, said the scary look can be down right frightening for your eyes.

"Corneal ulcers, which if not treated early enough, can lead to internal infections. We also see corneal scarring which can lead to permanent vision loss and possibly blindness, corneal swelling or what we call edema which is depriving the cornea of oxygen and corneal abrasions which are small cuts," said Dr. Tang.
It's true that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has classified all contact lenses - even special effect contacts that do not provide any vision correction - as medical devices. Violation of this is a class 1 misdemeanor.

Keep this story in mind when Halloween rolls around, parents. Kids will be finding these more often and damaging eye tissue is not really something that sounds like a treat.
